Livejournal, I find myself here again. It's 2:40 am and of course I have class in the morning. I'm troubled, and I can't even fully explain why. Am I missing the wrong person

It's hard to forget about someone who took up so much of your time and gave you so many memories. John was thirteen years of my life and my only boyfriend really growing up, so I know what you're going through. The only things I can suggest for you to do are:
1. Do not let past feelings interfere with your new ones. These new feelings just might be what you need. It's going to be hard at first, but everything that turns out wonderful is hard at first.
2. I'm not sure on the speaking terms that you and Josh have. If the two of you are friends, I would not suggest it, but if the two of you are able to be friends without any other feelings, then that's awesome. If you two aren't on speaking terms, I would force yourself to talk about him as little as possible and to pack away pictures and what not. I know after packing away everything it helped me, a lot. John and I are not on speaking terms though, so I'm not sure about you and Josh.
3. Be happy. Whoever, however, whereever. Do what makes you happy. You know what is good for you, it's just getting the courage to do is always hard. You know in your heart, love.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write this bro!
You're right...on all counts really. Most of what I wrote was actually about Gil, but Josh pops up in my thoughts still and I hate it.
And yeah, Josh and I don't talk any more. It was too hard for him? It was weird for me...but I would've done it. Anyhow, I think you're right. Talking doesn't work after you share that much with someone. I cut my losses...and I'm so glad that you did the same!
I loved your "sappy" advice... and yay for Mexicans lmao.
