OMG ... a Post!
Today was subtly huge. I went to NJ and signed the last of the divorce paperwork.
I know 110% it's the right thing, but it still feels like something quietly momentous just happened. I've had butterflies in my tummy all day. They kinda tickle.
And to my ex and her kids, I wish you all success and happiness in your new home. I don't know how much we'll be in touch after all the papers go away, but the proverbial door will be open in case you someday feel I'm not evil incarnate. This doesn't have to be a win-lose situation. In fact, I think *everyone* will be a lot happier after the dust settles.
