There have been some really super times lately, which is nice. Xenia and I began a "Happy Drinking Fun Time" with two other fun people, and that's kind of our newest hobby. Last night Anna-Lena was cooking with Sean and Ken during Happy Drinking Fun Time, and it smelled great...until she cooked tortellini that was two years past the expiration date. Yeah, things DO go bad. They have shelf lives. The HDFT group watched Eddie Izzard and Strangers with Candy and it was a really cool night.
Monday was the first installment of this, and it lasted till about 4:30am...because The Office is worth it.
Last weekend, the Christmas tour was totally freaking insane. The tours ran smoothly and by nine o'clock, everyone still working at Alex's house was finishing up a bottle of white. When we all got to the party next door we were having a good time, enjoying delicious food and drinks and the company of our neighbors. Then not too long after, drama happened, one of my friends left in tears, I went on a big tirade while my dad and neighbor Jim physically threatened some guy, and then forcibly ejected him from the house...and the other guests clapped and yelled and cheered. I left the party to take care of my friend, and I can only assume that my dad took to guarding the front door.
Good times in Allegheny West.
The Carlow Family Xmas party was spectacular as well. The green room looked beautiful, we had an actual candlelit sit-down dinner, and a good time was had by all.
