Mowing over propane lines make for very hectic moments!
Yeah...we have a huge propane tank...like 4 or 5 hundred some odd gallon tank... 2 lines running into the ground. And today Danny accidentally mowed over the main line. Split it wide open. It was screamin and hissin as the gas roared out. Scared him so bad I thought he was gonna have a stroke or something. His heart was racing and he immd went down with a major headpain. Really scary. He ran inside to call the emergency line while I found and took care of the shut off valve. They told us to evacuate the area and they were out here in a heartbeat to fix it up. With a tank that size, a spark could have blown up half the damn street! So very dangerous situation luckily averted this time.
Needless to say, *I* finished mowing the lawn...
Danny is finally starting to calm down a bit after several hours of worry... ;)
