(no subject)
Does anyone in lj-land know how to take automatic screen captures using VLC? I found a nice tutorial and thought I had it all figured out. I started screen capping a movie and it was all going really well, with screen captures being taken every few seconds. About half an hour into it, I left for work. I was all excited when I came home because I opened the folder and there were a huge number of .PNG files in there. Except...they were all 0 bytes! Now, at the time I left for work I had actual pictures. I could understand if an error occurred after I left, but why would it affect captures that had already been taken?
Also, if you know of any other program with the same functionality I would love to know because I apparently fail at VLC.
