Justin: I have interviews all week. Cross your fingers that I get a nice job

Me: crossing my fingers might be a bad idea, that didnt help the election

Justin: No amount of crossed fingers can stop idiots.

Justin: Also every state voting for Bush turned down motions for better schools.

Justin: This tells us something.

Me: is america really that brain washed?

Justin: Want the truth, or a hopeful lie

Justin: America is brianwashed because it is easier to be in denial than it is to admit we have a problem that needs working on. Bush represents the "nothing is wrong" point of view so there is no work to be done. Kerry presented the "we have a problem, but we can work to get better" point of view. Americans don't want to work anymore than they already have to so they nicely put themselves in a box where it's safe. This is, dispite the box being on fire, their safe haven.

Me: sigh.

Justin: This is the world in which we live, and these are the prices we pay for not killing off the stupid.

Me: Well, it was nice having a few rights while it lasted.

Justin: If Bush gets all he wants having sex before marriage will be illegal, and punishible by death.
