[intraship communications] mission: totally possible [shuttle dock 2]

Starfleet HQ has tasked the Enterprise with a relief mission to planetoid Lambda Seven, which recently suffered a natural disaster that. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Eresians, but they're parthenogenetic and take offense to the presence of a biological male - hence the all female away team. I'll explain more when we've departed, but we need to leave as soon as possible. I've forwarded details of everything you'll need, and most of the supplies should be waiting for us on the shuttle. We leave at 1100 hours from shuttle dock 2.

I've forwarded all the details Starfleet sent about the mission to your PADD, as well as an inventory of supplies. We'll be in contact at all times, and the Enterprise can expect regular updates.

Stay out of trouble? See you in three days, N.

The first thing Nyota did when she returned to her quarters was send her selected team and Captain a brief message outlining what was happening. That done, she quickly showered and dressed, her body protesting just a little against so much haste so early in the morning when she had barely slept. But she was determined to show the pleasant Admiral that her professionalism had not, and would never, be affected by whatever personal issues she had. As soon as she smoothed down the red of her uniform, pulled her hair back into the customary ponytail, she was Lieutenant Uhura, and she had no intentions of this mission being anything more than one hundred percent successful.

It took her two hours to co-ordinate the supplies and get the shuttle prepped, and she was glad that it went relatively smoothly. She couldn't help but be proud; they may have been some of the youngest members of Starfleet, but they were nothing but efficient and the best. If she hadn't been sure of her choice to be a part of the Enterprise, every time she watched the departments co-ordinate with such ease, it would push any hesitations out of sight and out of mind.

She was still in the shuttle dock, PADD in hand as she checked tasks from her list, when the first of her team arrived. "You're early," she commented with a bright smile. "Lets hope this is a sign of things to come."
