They aren't hard to find, these blinds that shutter me away from the out-of-doors. Still, I can't help but think of these blinds as mine, and that I'm the only one who looks up through them and only sees half the world.
Because, truly, I can only see half through the slats that alternate in concealment. I can still see the picture, the world, whatever, but I can't see all of it. I can see the whole, but not the parts.
Is the whole I see greater than the half-visible sum of it's parts?
