really, how cute are these things!? i got 4 others that are the same breed as this one and one skittish black one that's kind of camera shy.
i found a recipe online for cultivating wild yeast to make bread with, but the only problem is the time it takes once it gets started. maybe once school's over i'll get a chance to try it out. i plan on having slimy trails of sludge all over the house this summer. :-)
and, grace, you are an inspiration. i think i'm going to use this journal strictly for food talk! the chicks still fit in with the theme--they'll be laying the eggs i plan on cooking with, and (sadness!) will be sent to slaughter once they can't lay anymore.
