weirs baack
so every summer we take a family trip up to lake winnipesaukee. this summer was awesome. so it started off with the kids driving up by ourselves in the nanny van. we finally got there and we stopped by weirs beach. leanne and i had to change into our bathing suits in the van. that was pretty sweet cause ive never gotten dressed in a car before.. yeah we had to do that like three times. anyways.. we ran on the rail tracks and down to the beach and jumped right into the water, which of course was the perfect temperature. so after a little swimming the lifeguards kicked everyone out and it began to poor. the roads were completely flooded. we all got soaked, and of course being the smart children we are, leanne and i got dressed again in the van and we ended up just drenching out clothes. so we went to the arcades for a bit... ok so after a while we ended up going to friendlys and getting food. then we went to the campsite where the boys (Paul Michael John and Nate) were staying. we had a fire and made smores and roasted hot dogs. leanne and i bought some cameras at the local Shaws and we took pictures of everyone. it was a gay affair. the girls (me leanne mom and aunty linda) went to our motel at 11. we watched family guy and eventually fell asleep.
after waking up from our first night there i was eager to take a shower cause i smelt like bug spray and my fingers were still sticky from marshmellows. the shower pressure had no velocity... it sucked. we all got ready and the boys came to the motel and we went shopping. of course our first stop was a tradition.. the old country store, where we always buy our penny candy and stock up on candy cigarettes. after a purchase of 10 packs of candy cigarettes, 2 packs of gum candy cigarettes, 3 gum cigars, and a root beer, we were back on the road and our next destination was the army navy store. we went to some outlits. KB toys is great, and Rue 21.. ok more burgerking.. and we were on our way back to the motel. we got there and the children walked down to the weirs for some X-Treme arcade playing. after arcades it was time to go to the drive in movie theater. we were stocked up on cotton candy, drinks, popcorn and candy. we watched the wedding crashers and mr + mrs smith. so during the 2nd movie john wips out some cigars. we all took one and smoked it. well except leanne cause she was in the van talking to alex, and out moms were in the other car.. but the 4 of us inocent little ones smoked cigars. my first one ever.. it was mango. yumm. after the movie the cigar smoking kids stopped by a huge hill and paul wagoned down it. amazing he survived.. we went back to the motel and watched tv then one by one we all fell asleep.
our last and final day..today... we woke up and took showers, packed up the cars, and were outta there by 11. we stopped by a diner that had very spicy home fries.. it was nothing like angies let me tell you. so we got back in the car and drove home. and that was the end to my anual trip..
