Vicious crab legs
I cut my thumb on a crab leg last night. Death can't even stop it from being pissed off that its on my dinner plate. We had a clean-the-freezer dinner last night. I had crab legs, Karl had cheese steak and Emily had a kid cuisine. I found some old hamburger and chicken from December, its got freezer burn but I am going to cook it for the dogs. Its been frozen the whole time so its safe but I hate the texture of freezer burn. Makes it feel all velvety. Yuck. Tonight we are having homemade pizza. I got a pizza stone from the thrift store. After bleaching it and washing it in the dishwasher 5 times I think I can eat off it. :o)
Karl decided not to get an apartment just yet. Thank God. He is going to stay in the barracks and find a place after he gets there. I'm glad he will be able to scope the place out before signing any contracts. We have another loan in the works so we will see if we get that. I find myself walking around the house and I just stop, look up at the ceiling, clasp my hands and pray that God finds a way to approve this loan. I know He has better things to do than get us out of debt but I would be ever so happy if he managed it. Not that he should waste his time with a part time believer, such as myself, but it doesn't hurt to try.
Emily is sleeping in this morning, she was up until midnight last night! That girl is such a nightowl. While I miss her going to preschool and getting a little time to myself, it is nice to not have to battle her to get out of bed in the morning.
So who do you think will be voted off American Idol tonight? I think it could be anyone tonight, I don't think anyone is safe. I hope Taylor and Chris go to the finals, but I like Katharine a lot too.
I think I am going to go take a shower. Try to get showered and dress before noon this time.
