Why is spanking your kids so frowned upon? I don't get it. Of course there's a limit. You can't beat your kids, obviously, but a little spank when they've been bad? I don't see how that's going to mess them up.

I don't get it either, I've only had to spank my son a few times but he's gotten the message and is perfectly behaved now.

I got spanked when I was a kid. I think it did me good.

I think it did me good as well, my mother used to threaten to hit me with a wooden spoon and usually all she had to do was open the drawer and I would behave.

It bothers me when little kids swear without consequences. Like that one ad campaign for the gay thing? The fact that they had a little girl swearing made me want to boycott it more than the subject.

I wouldn't boycott it because I think it's a sweet idea but I was a little shocked at her language as well, I'm sure they explained that she can't say stuff like that all the time though.

I thought all around there was far too much foul language in it, but she just sealed that I didn't approve. At all.

I think I've just gotten used to it, thankfully he doesn't swear as much around my son. And if he does, it's usually in french.
