There have been changes in your life. Today is a good day to talk about them.

You got a severe case of curiosity attack or something?

It was my first duty to listen. "Guardian" angel came later.

OOC: Sooo sorry, I've been on/off internet and lost track of a lot of things! If you wanna drop this one, I totally understand ;)

To listen, not to be a warrior and all? That's... new.

ooc: It's okay! I hope things are alright!

Hm. Whether you believe it or not, you are not my first charge -- far from it.

OOC: All good -- my computer took a swandive, but I've got a frankenstein's monster on the way to working now, so it should all be in order soon!

Just the first one that makes you, y'know, doubt? Just kidding.

It's just different from what you said before, but that don't mean I don't believe or anything. Not like I ever was under the illusion that any of you are telling me everything.

ooc: YAY all in order!

I should rephrase. While you are the first I've actually...encountered, I have listened to many for years before you.

Right. That... makes sense, I guess. Hey, is that how stuff like confessions started?

Not exactly. Confessions are for Catholics only, if I'm not mistaken.

That only one group decided to imitate something don't mean that they didn't imitate it?

ooc: Not only Catholics, though they are the most explicit about it. But Dean doesn't necessarily know that - he's digging more into the actual texts rather than the procedures followed by the different congregation types.

Rather than confessing, people ask for help or guidance. I hear the ones that move in excess, whose lives change so much, they almost cannot control a single aspect of them, and so relinquish the control completely.

I listen to the prayers that people sometimes don't realize they have spoken. The lost and wandering souls who are looking for their paths again.

I figured as much - sometimes I'm too lazy to Google. Plus I'd been toying with a Castiel who is ignorant of Earth's religions but for the general idea of Christianity or monotheism, at least. Still haven't decided.

Right. Gettin' it.

Still say it could be imitation, though. Imitating makes people not get some vital points? Something like that.

But yeah, while I don't exactly have much experience with praying, I'd bet it's different.
