The boyfriend has a kid, of sorts. The kid, Schnozz, is an ancient spirit in the shape of a kitten. He looks like a kitten and acts like a kitten, but is also fully sentient unlike a real kitten. My quandary is, would cat toys be an appropriate gift or a total insult?
