Okay. Here's the thing about charity.
It's charity. You don't have to do it if you don't want to, but if you do, I'm pretty sure it's to make you feel good, and feel better about yourself. Sure, yeah, there's the cause there too, and that's always great, but charity's more about your karma than anything else.
That being said, don't bitch at me because I'm doing my job and ask you if you want to donate a dollar. It's a dollar. I can understand if you don't want to, but don't rant at me because I have what you feel is the audacity to ask you to add another dollar to your order so that you can sign a big paper shoe to be posted around the store. This is about frickin' kids with cancer, not what you feel is Big Business's greediness. If you want a handout so fucking badly, go to welfare. I'm sure there's someone that can support you.
Besides, if you've been unemployed for seven months and just got out of rehab, your karma probably needs all the help it can get.
