So the competing sayings are "There's no place like home" and "You can never go home again". Personally, I'm more for the Dorothy version. I have to say, while the circumstances...well, suck - it does feel good to be home. I can go to all my favorite old haunts, see my family and friends, and just...be me.

Now I just need to get out to the shore before it gets too cold to enjoy it.
