the best day at work
today i got to work with joe and michelle in the morning 10-2
it was so completely fun
when i first came in joe and michelle were rocking out to the buzzard and it was completely causal and un-awkward like opening at conagree is
joe and michelle already had almost everything done and i only had to veggie prep which is fun when you get to do it without interruption
. . . later in the day when we were changing over, tom the little 15yr old (hes so cute, baby cute) came over to ask michelle what he should do about changing over the guacamole, it was his only thing left to change and he had run out of pans.
after he left i was like michelle please tell me you heard that. "heard what?" she asked, tom had actually said guatemala instead of guacamole. after dying for a few moments michelle called tom back over and asked him what he hadn't changed he said guatemala again plain as day! it was hilarious and michelle was like guatemala, now isn't that a country? we teased him for a while longer and then called joe over and he continued to ridicule the boy. . . after we were done changing the table michelle asked if i had told him what it was called, i hadn't and non of us ever did.
so now poor tom will wonder through life never knowing the true name of guacamole
michelle said he was gonna go home and ask his dad, "dad, what's the green stuff that goes on sandwiches?" dad: "lettuce" "pickles" "peppers" . . .it was a fun day
and before i left michelle was asking joe what he wanted on his tuna sandwich and he called her a turkey but both of us though he wanted turkey on his sandwich. . .come on that was mildly amusing right?
