The Waiting Game
If there's a movie of that name, it should be obliterated and replaced with a dramatisation of my life at this precise moment. I think this is the first time I've ever wanted to actually Speed up time (normally it seems like there's never enough time)!
So, allow me to explain. I'm waiting to go to university. And, I'm not kidding, EVERYONE is leaving before me. I don't arrive at York until the 9th of October!! Freshers is then that week, the 11th to 17th and my course doesn't start till the 18th of October!! And then 2 months later I'll be back home for Christmas. This is surely not normal! I've got a reading list and everything to keep me busy, but I've already read the good stuff! Just 'Theory and Criticism' Anthology and the plays of Samuel Beckett now... urgh.
Anyway, since everyone will be leaving, I had my birthday party on Friday. My birthday is tomorrow on Monday but if people haven't left already, they leave on my birthday. Great present. Nevermind. So we watch Prince Caspian just to make it all better, which obviously it totally did. And had cake. That helped too. Missed Anita though!!! :(
