Burma is one messed up place. I spent a month in northern Thailand...and damn burma is just one of those places the world forgot.

My uncle spent a month in Thailand and said the same thing. I really want to take a visit over there and see Cambodia as well. It must have been an amazing trip.

Yup I'm headed back to chaing mai next august for another month.

The thai culture is pretty interesting and has a lot of features which would surprise many westerners.

Hope you are enjoying the politics forum, it gets pretty petty and snarky at times, but hey what do you expect from the internet
