So yesterday, i went to my dad's KFC work party thing(he's the main accountant for the whole chain of stores), and since my uncle Scott's family works there too, mos of my coisins were there. When my cousin Lyndsey got there, she asked me and my sister Kiri if we wanted to go to the free Justin Nozuka concert that 107.9 the Mix was having at the Hard Rock Cafe in Salt Lake City, and my mom said we could go. So after a few hours of playing with my cousin Brad's baby Mack, we left to go and see if we could get tickets. so we got there, and there were already about 5 people there, and the manager was just walking out of the cafe. she told us to start forming a line, and that the doors would open at 6 to let us in for the concert. well, we had gotten there at 4:15, so, we had to wait in line for almost 2 hours. we were the 4th group in line. the couple ahead of us and the couple behind us both had Twilight books(haha, go figure), the ones in front had New Moon, andthe couple behind had Twilight. about 20 min after we had gotten there, the boy started to read outloud to the girlfriend, so we just st there and listened to him. xD ok, so, at about 5:20, Lyndsey's new boyfriend Ryan came and waited with us. they let us in after the sound check at about 6:10, and when they asked us if we wanted a chair or a table, we said chairs(mainly because we didn't bring enoigh money for us all to get something to eat, and you had to spend a minimum of $25 to be aloud to stay there). so they led us to a row of 14 chairs in front of the stage and since we were first to pick the chairs, we go to pick first. we got front row center seats! we sat there and made stuff out of dollar bills for 45 minutes until he came down the stairs. he was so HOT! xD lmbo. so he came on stage and thanked us all for coming and crap, and then he said he would play 5 songs, and not the whole album 'cause there was another group to come in after us, so he couldn't do it as long as he had wanted too. so he played4 songs, and then he told us he would play 6 songs, instead of the original 5. he played; Mr. Therapy Man, Golden Train, After Tonight, Don't Listen to a Word, Save Him, and Criminal. after, he went out on the balcony and signed autographs and took pictures, and stuff. we were the 5th group in that line, and we were freaking out 'cause no one in our group had brought anything for him to sign. then, Lyndsey had the bright idea to have him sign a dollar bill for each of us. so, when we got up there, we took one group pic of him and all of the girls, and then each of us got our own pics. and then he signed the dollar bills. :P i have mine hanging on my magnet board. teehee. Justin kept on laughing at us and our clever idea. the press man(idk if he was from the newspaper, hard rock cafe, or the radio station) kept taking pics of our group, and after when we started walking away, he stopped us and said he needed our names for publicity reasons. idk why. but he had alot of trouble spelling me and my sister's names(Rebekah and Kiri). when we were on the way home, Lyndsey said that we should all go to his September concert together, and my mom said we could if we could earn the money and if we were home. the whole thing was DEFINATELY worth the wait!!
