New Journal Name!
So, I gave up over a year ago on changing the name of my journal. All of the decent "Jimbo" names were taken, including the one I wanted, "Just Jimbo." I even had that as the 'title' of my journal: "Just Jimbo, but that was already taken

Fall is our busiest time at work. And as we get nearer to the end of the semester and of the year it gets crazy. Everyone's trying to wrap things up before the holidays.
I also applied for another job on campus. I had to scramble to get my application and resume together. The last time I had to do that was 20 years ago! Thank goodness I'm a bit of a pack rat and kept copies of old job applications and resumes.
I have my heart set on getting that job. It means leaving my union *which I really love*. I'm a campus steward and I don't want to leave a mess. So, I have to tidy things up for the next person. I'm already thinking of ways to get involved in the union I'm moving to. :-)
And I'm on one the busiest faculty committees on campus. My new job will put me in a different classification and I'll no longer be able to serve on the committees. So, I'll have to prepare for that too.
Changes! I love it! It's gotten my energy flowing. Hopefully I can channel some of that into more writing in the new year!
