Disclaimer: I recognize that this does not count as a real post. However, since I'm Reno bound, I had to post *something*! I fly out stupid late on the 9th and get home at midnight on the 13th. If you're going and interested in meeting up, message me your contact info, and we can try to match schedules.
The life summary: still at the job where I started in September. I feel like I have funny or interesting stories most days, so that is definitely a plus. I have been through many levels of GI illness with my puppy including an overnight vet stay in December for serious pancreatitis. Lately, I can say without doubt that she is not scavenging, and yet any huge shift from normal routine puts her at risk for vomiting followed by diarrhea and vet bills. Yes, I'm planning ahead for Reno and will feed her a bland diet before I even leave the house. I've begged just in case antibiotics, and will probably bring rescue remedy to help her feel calmer. Any other suggestions?
Aside from that, I've just been doing little things. Meeting new people to hang out with for CSA/veggie sharing, puppy play dates and spending time with my best friend have kept me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm exhausted and/or immersed in series like Dexter and Big Love.
Remember, let me know if you're going to Reno. After a night of walking the puppy many times, feeding her at 5:00 and discovering that her belly seems to be solid, I've been a slug about getting up. Time to rush around like a crazy person and get to work.
