Recently I've had a problem with comments showing up on ONE old post I made to one of my neglected comms almost a year ago. It seems that every day for the past few weeks I've been receiving some really strange comments, some in foreign languages and some clearly advertising different things. I thought it very odd that they would ALL be on the

I have heard of that happening. I don't know how or why. I would be very upset. I f-lock most entries, but not birthday greetings or certain forms of announcements, or, most importantly, not my fiction! I would be very upset if anyone went after my fiction, because it has been painfully organized to be findable on my Memories page.

It's very unsettling. Maybe not threatening, but something like this is not nice to go through nevertheless. :(

It would be horrible to have any of your fiction violated in this way. That's why I think it's always important to upload to a safe site somewhere (like HASA and others).

Color me paranoid! I have everything double, triple, and quadruple backed-up. I am in the slow process also of putting everything on Archive of Our Own.

Oh, that's good. Archive of Our Own sounds interesting too. In fact, did you not just post something....? I have to catch up on reading LJ entries. :/

Probably. I can't remember. That's why I have to keep good records. I lose track of myself.
