YES, YES IT IS. Zombies are my favorite. I've started writing a CM zombie fic. It was originally for apocabigbang but I don't have an attention span, so I didn't finish it on time. IT WILL BE WRITTEN, THOUGH. I have like two or three pages done but I love the idea.

Yes, you do! I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I finished one of my prompts, and I've started on two others (a fic and a batch of icons), and then I have ideas for another two, so I'm REALLY hoping to get this bingo done. I don't think love_bingo is going to go as well because um. I have firsthand knowledge of angst, not of romantic relationships. Far more comfortable with the former.

(I babble, sorry. I'm a babbler. You may have noticed.)

I love babblers.

And I love angst. It's my favourite thing to write, but I do like a good dose of fluff to balance it out too.

I have a few ideas, and I'm pretty sure most of these fills will be CM, though I have some other fandom ideas too.

I've never written zombie fic, but I can't wait to read your CM zombie fic XD

Good, because you will get a lot of babble from me!

It's my favorite, too. I do my best with sad things. I wrote a comedy a few years ago for NaNoWriMo as a challenge to myself, and it was the most frustratingly difficult thing I have ever done. I keep putting off my rewrite, partly because there are so many stupid things I need to fix, and partly because being funny is hard. I got really irritated last year, because in my AP English class, my teacher asked if we thought it would be easier to write tragedies or comedies and I was the only person to raise their hand for tragedy. People don't get that "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" jokes don't transfer as well into print, and that your sense of humor is not going to be universal. It's difficult to do.

And I have a habit of injecting angst into absolutely everything that I do. I like darkness. You get better characters out of hideously dark situations.

Nnnng I'm just excited for more fic from you, from this or from your M/R verse. And you could totally work that Reid-giving-Prentiss-a-lap- ( ... )

There's a quote from the Doctor Who epsisode 'Blink', about "sad is happy for deep people" which I think is true. I kind of tend to shoot myself in the foot though, so relishing angst and living it so vividly through my characters. The amount of times I've completely emotionally drained myself writing Kelpie (my original fic), because I treat my characters as if they exist. I have no delusions that they exist anywhere but my own head, but the only way I can write genuinely is to treat them like they're real.

I totally do want to write that Prentiss/Reid lapdance XD I'm not sure it will be an angst fill. Mind you I could make it angsty by doing it through the gaze of a jealous Morgan secretly in love with one/both of them.

Which reminds me, I read a Reid/Morgan/Prentiss one-shot recently, and it was awesome. I really want more poly with those three.

Please tell me Morgan gets to kick a zombie and break it in two like he would a door. And there's got to be "zombie facts with Spencer Reid", right? :P

I can't wait until I get to "Blink". a;lsdj;flsakdjf I need to get back to Doctor Who; I keep meaning to.

That quote is so accurate. And I know what you mean about having to treat your characters like they're real. My main novel that I've been working on since ~2008 has a group of characters that I absolutely adore. It pains me to put them through what they're going through, and I feel that pain for them, and I think that's how it works best, really.

Do it do it do it! I've liked the M/R/P fic I've read. They do make an interesting poly.

Hahahaha I'm sure he'll get to at some point! And it's kind of dark, so I was planning on this being one thing that Reid doesn't know anything about. Throwing him out of his element and leaving them completely lost as far as information goes. Most of the team gets forcibly evacuated from the country when it first breaks out, but Morgan, Reid, and Prentiss are out on a consult in the city that the outbreak originates in, so they're stranded. I think they're going to meet up with Elle at some point ( ... )

Oh it would be lovely to see Elle again. I always think it's strange it's never noted that maybe Morgan kept in contact with her, since they were such bros. I'm actually thinking of applying it as headcanon to my M/R 'verse, even if she's not a big part, just acknowledging that her friendship with Morgan has lasted.

Poor Reid, not knowing what's going on XD He'd hate that. Do you think he watches much zombie stuff? I guess he's more sci-fi, but there's often genre crossover with the living impaired.

To do list tomorrow: make self a zombie-themed icon. It's nessessary.

No more messages from be until tomorrow (technically later today...), but I'll continue all our ongoing convos when I return :D

Honestly, I'm not sure if my head-canon Morgan kept in contact with her. They really didn't talk at all after her attack, which never sat well with me. I always felt like, gorgeous parallels to Reid's later story-line aside, it should have been Morgan to talk to her in "Aftermath", or to say, "Hey, maybe it's a little callous and thoughtless to ask her to relive her trauma before even the physical scars heal ( ... )

I really love Elle, and I don't appreciate her being demonised, but I do think a storyline with her coming back as a vigilante-style unsub would be interesting.

Are you doing lurching zombies, or including the holy-shit-they-can-run kind?

I love her too. The amount of crap she gets in the fandom is awful.

They're slow zombies, but they don't feel pain, they never tire, and they don't give up. So basically, if you stop for a long enough time, they'll catch up to you. The holy-shit-they-can-run kind are terrifying omg.

I think I've got more of an appreciation for zombies since playing Bioshock. Technically they're not zombies in that, they're mutated humans, but they have a lot of the qualities of gaming zombies, including holy-shit-they-can-run-and-crawl-on-the-ceiling. But they're even more creepy because they're, y'know, still human.
