One day closer to the weekend - yippee. Having a few girlfriends over for wine and dinner tonight. Mostly for wine. Made my famous zesty shrimp and rice salad last night so it's all ready to serve after work. Unfortunately, the supermarket didn't have regular asparagus. So I bought the white kind. I've never tried it before. It's much thicker. I added green beans to the recipe, because visually I needed something green like that. Has anyone ever tried the white asparagus? What's the difference?
