Ahh Monday - back to work. Did so much hiking this weekend. Friday night wound up going to a local place for Mexican food and margaritas. Enjoyed interesting conversation with some very different people. Was home and in bed by 10:00 - yea. I needed that. Saturday - Rita and I were in the woods from 8:00am until 5:00pm. We hiked and blazed. In total it was probably around 12 miles of walking - whew. I was ready to collapse when I got home, but Mr. Nantucket was home and wanted to go out for dinner. We ate a a closeby restaurant that I've wanted to try. Beer before dinner. Wine with dinner. Martini's and vodka tonics back at his place. Oh my oh my. Sunday I wasn't feeling very good. Struggled through church and then hit the trails again. The blazing project is finally finished. I am relived. Hopefully we won't loose any hikers in the woods now. Went back over to Mr. Nantuckets for pizza and to watch Heathers - one of my all time fav movies. He seemed to like it but I think our movies tastes might be very different.
Despite trying to avoid the neighbor this morning, I wound up unavoidably talking to him for a few minutes in the driveway. He told me he missed me while he was away and that he would call me tonight. I didn't stay that I missed him, although I did.
Can't wait to hear all about Miss Dana's big party. There better be lots of photos. It was nice in Danbury Sat afternoon. Hope it was nice there too.
