Sirius says that Professor Lupin will probably be ready to go tomorrow afternoon, but I'm not really sure. Sirius wouldn't let me in to see him and I don't think that Sirius has even slept at all since Wednesday so I hope he sleeps before we go too. But I don't see how Professor Lupin will be ready. I don't know how you can have something like ( Read more... )

Harry, do let me know if Professor Lupin recieves a parcel from the Burrow! He'll likely not feel well enough to give us a reply.

And take care! Is your scar bothering you?

I will! And my scar is fine. I just hit my head a couple of days ago and got a huge bruise. But it's better this morning.

I hope your holiday is good! Could you say hi to Mr and Mrs Weasley and Ginny and Cho and Charlie and George and Fred and everyone for me?

All right, Harry? Good to hear that you're enjoying your hols. Don't let Mr. Moony up until he's well again. If you need to you can make a samurai out of the Roar-i-Gami paper which'll give some nasty paper cuts if he tries anything.

He looks like he's going to be okay. Thank you for asking about him! I'll try not to let him do anything too much.

Could you tell Percy hi for me, too?

Cheers, Fred.

No need for Samurai. I'll be good.

Thank you for your very specific number of cranes. They are quite friendly - I take it this you've improved upon them some?

You're welcome. Feeling better?

You're right, I tweaked the Roar-i-gami charms slightly so that they weren't so...manic. Maybe we should sell them as Purr-i-gami.

What do you think?

Yes, a bit better, I think. What's left of my leg is still quite sore. No Quidditch for me for a while.

Purr-i-Gami is a very good idea. They are really quite remarkable - I believe I now have a mated pair roosting in the kitchen, according to Sirius. Which begs the question: can they in fact breed? What do they lay? Little paper eggs?

Ah, magic. Mutilating reality since the dawn of time.

See you on Monday night; it seems I have been invited to the Burrow.
