My mom's laptop has been broken for a few months now, and I decided to take a look at it today to see what was wrong. She said she had two technicians look at it, and they both said there was no way to fix it. It didn't take long at all for me to figure out why it wasn't working-it was missing a driver and some software that it needed to boot. It was kind of unbelievable, honestly. I couldn't say that I was proud of myself for figuring it out. How did both of those technicians fail to see what was wrong with it, and why did they go as far as to say that it was unable to be repaired? How could two technicians miss that? I thought it was pretty funny.
