Your text work is lovely! You select great fonts and size/place your text wonderfully! The vibrant colors you infuse in your icons, esp. in #2 and #5, are awesome. I think for #3, the subject blends into the background a bit because she's so blue, but the centered crop is a good choice so that there's just enough empty space around the sucject.
#3 was definitely a challenge for me, and I tried to distinguish between the foreground and background by shading the subject lighter, and darkening the background, but I can see how it's still all very... blue, lol!
Re: Sharpening - I was aiming to achieve a softer look in 1, and I personally think 4 is one of the more over-sharpened examples I've given... I almost took it out because of that =/
With 6 - I'm fairly sure both images are sharpened the same. What may have happened is that the smaller image might have lost some sharpness when resized, but I think if I'd sharpened it any further, it really wouldn't have looked nice at all.
But icons can look different on various monitors, so perhaps that's what's happened here.
Wow! Your icons are absolutely amazing! Love them to pieces! The coloring, the text use, it's all awesome!
As far as concrit goes I can just say that I'd've made them all a tiny bit brighter and I'm not a fan of #3 'cause it's so blue. But that's all personal preferances really. :)
Thank you! Brightness is like an enigma to me, something I fear will always be a little off for someone somewhere! But having looked at them, I can see that they are a touch dark, so thank you for bringing it to my attention! And yes, #3 really is just blue, isn't it? I can definitely see how it wouldn't be something everyone loved.

check your sharpening though, 1 and 6 need more, and in 7, she is oversharpened but he is blurred...3 and 4 have perfect sharpening
