It's six days away.....
Six days until the TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY of Jeremy Brett's passing, and while I was chatting with a friend of mine the other day, I wondered, what sorts of things will some of us be up to on that day? A mega-marathon of Sherlock Holmes episodes? Going on tour to all or some of the haunts and places associated with him, including a certain statue in Edinburgh? Writing a smattering of wonderful poems in celebration of his life, or perhaps a pastiche or two featuring the greatest portrayal of his far-too short career?
Or perhaps merely sobbing into our drinks, whatever they might be.
In any event, I would very much like to know, and to anyone who is across the pond and able (as well as willing) to take a merry jaunt through Brettish country, please take some photos for the rest of us lot to enjoy!
