Knitters Guide to Websites We Love
Since i knit more than i cross stitch, it's only fair that i have a knitters web guide, too! fellow knitters/weavers/spinners, please chime in with your own contributions!
Online Retailers
SuperCrafty -- she's a SAHM in CA who has a baby with a brain tumor. i've been following her blog for a while now, and her little one is just too damn cute.
KnitPicks -- good cheap wool for felting, sock yarn, and other fibers. they sell books and tools, too. i have not heard good things about their needles, though.
White Lies designs -- vintage and lingerie design patterns and kits in small to plus sizes.
Cascade Yarns -- one of the other standards for yarn. they make a pima tencel yarn i'm dying to get my hands on.
Online [free!] patterns
Knitty.com -- quarterly patterns plus instructions and other resources. the patterns are always on the funky and unusual side, but not so far out i'd never make them.
Knit Wiki -- just getting started, but lots of potential!
