Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows:
My vision of what will, and what I want, to happen in this book. Under a cut for when I reply to myself. Please comment, but don't have a comment subject, so I can check my email without being spoiled!
Plot:
So, there is a large part of me that wants Voldemort to win, simply because it doesn’t seem like it should happen.
However, Alexander feels the book will start “I’m richer than the Queen, I can’t be arsed!”
We need to find out something about Lily, and part of me thinks that it might have to do with how good she was a potions, possibly a job, or Snape fancied her skills, or something.
I don’t think Lupin will die, simply because to kill him off is a little cliched. Harry has lost all father figures, it’s kinda getting silly. “Oh, Sirius is your father figure? DIE! You like Dumbledore? DIE!!!! Mr Weasley?… Almost die!”
I’m hoping the Malfoy’s will get away with everything, simply because I don’t want the book to be all “All the bad will be punished!” and it would be awesome to see the gloating from the family after the war finished.
It would be nice to see Percy come back to the side of light… or at least to gloat when darkness wins.
I want some more Marauders!
Ships:
If she kills my Tonks/Lupin love, I will kill her.
Ron/Hermione. Some grown up affection, though I doubt we’ll see any romance.
The wedding between Fleur and Bill?
That’s about it.
Judgement:
Those who I think will die:
Snape
Voldemort (alas)
Bellatrix
Luna?
Neville
At least one Weasley.
Cho (please?!?)
Peter
Seamus or Dean. A close friend who wasn’t too important.
Harry? Only if Voldemort wins. Kinda obvious.
Ron, I think. If a member of the trio dies, it will be Ron.
Lavender
One Patil twin.
