I really keep forgetting about livejournal... it's just I have sooo much to do and at the same time nothing to do.
My brother's cat, Arwen, is basically good as dead at the moment. Took her to the vet because she was breathing really weird. In like large gasps and when she got excited, her mouth(cats NEVER breathe with their mouths, the vet said that was a horrible sign). She got two x-rays which cost $100 and they deteremined that her biggest lung is 1/3 the size it's supposed to be; The other one is about 1/5. The reason: there's a huge mass above her lungs basically squishing them. It could be one of two things a) cancer b) a huge growth that can be cured with antibiotics and maybe surgery when the antibiotics make it smaller. If it is cancer, she'll be dead within this week. If it isn't, she'll be alive(if it doesn't get bigger) and it will get smaller because she's on antibiotics. She'll need to take antibiotics for about 2 months. The vet thinks it's cancer. He said to expect a dead cat one morning or if she gets upset or excited. She's perfectly healthy otherwise and she she better get better. She's the cutest kitty.
