Well strangely enough, Be Mine seems to be a rather fitting song for this piece! Sorry. :P I shall get to commenting like a sensible person now.
But seriously OMG. This fic? And it was for ME? Eeeeep.
And you say your imagination isn't as good as Mr. King's. Shame on you! You took what I vaguely gave and turned it into this!!! And it was amazing. I mean seriously, what can I say to do this piece justice?

Okay, well this fic was beyond amazing. I love how real you made everything Ianto was feeling. I mean, it cut, it really did. And he was so raw bless him. I mean, the way everything was written, it was so potent! And the way you changed it, it was just as sad...even though the outcome was what we wanted.
And then John swooping in and being the understanding shoulder...as best he can. :P And he does a good job of it. Justifying what Ianto can't and trying to help. Bless him.
But those flashbacks...those were what got me the most. Ianto's side on what Jack did. It made it all the worse for me. I don't think I'd have been able to watch that. Too haunting...too dark for me. But on the other hand, utterly fabulous. And then Jack leaving. Gosh. Ianto there...it was just so much worse. And then what he did to him. *wibble*
Not fair I tells you.
But if it results in that smut...well who am I to complain? It was AMAZING. I died a little LOL. I mean, you say you're no good at smut, but I beg to differ. I mean seriously, it was so subtle, but so intimate and...guh!
Oh and Jack. Bless him :( He can't forgive himself, but at least he comes back to see Ianto. I just don't think he realises ow destroyed the poor man is. *wibble* I mean, just the way it was written and how you wove the story together, and how perfect John was and gahhh! I could say things until the sun explodes and I still wouldn't get across effectively how much I LOVED IT.

I really have no idea how to reply to this epic comment - I feel that sitting here and blushing might just do it all justice. That being said I am so relieved what Ianto was feeling seemed real, as with my description I can sometimes get carried away and become a bit dramatic. I'm just pretty glad that aspect worked and the outcome was what was desired. ;)
Well...he tried. And if in doubt, shag. That's his motto (nothing wrong with it if you asks me :P) and I was lucky that John's role slotted into this idea. Then again if he didn't, I'd have forced him in for you anyway.
When I was writing those flashbacks I kinda saw for the first time why they had to kill Ianto off. I mean if he had been there to see Jack do it, and then if Jack had to leave him like that, in some ways I think it was kinder to actually kill him. Not that I want him dead of course, I would have still preferred a plot where there was no need for any Ianto death! *growls at RTD* But I'm just glad I got that emotion through, because its something that a lot of people are still touchy about, so I was a wee bit worried. :/
And haha, well if you liked the smut then I am happy! My first time present tense smut too, so I was even more worried than normal. But awwwww bless you! If you enjoyed it I shall just sit here and smile. :D
Nope...thats the tragedy of the whole thing I guess, the fact that Jack is there and yet Ianto doesn't even know. But honestly? Lol your fic squeeing makes me feel rather on top of the world right now, if I am a little incoherent too.
