Word of the day: DIFFERENT

....and thus ends another visit to good old Port Orchard, visits which are becoming shorter, fewer, and increasingly far between.
I'm feeling paragraph-y:

I'm often very reflective when I'm about to leave one place for another. I've been here less than a week this time, making a grand total of 9 days in Port Orchard this summer. I refer to Pullman as "home", because I've pretty much moved out of my parents house. I have a room here, full of stuff that I don't use, stuff which honestly, could all disappear and I probably wouldn't notice. That'll probably be my Christmas break project, I suppose, making this stuff disappear.
I don't feel as emotionally attached to any of this anymore, which is good, I think.
School starts on the 24th, and I'm excited to get back in the school-work-rehearsal routine. I'm feeling really positive about my living arrangements for this year, and I'm really anxious to be more independent this year due to my not being in the relationship I was in all of last year as well as most of my freshman year. Not that last year was bad, by any means, I just think it'll be good for me to experience a different routine that doesn't share focus with another person.
Yes, I'm dating someone right now, but its long-distance and an entirely different dynamic than before, giving me a lot more "me" time. Which I know I need.
This year means: being a STAGE exec, diving into ALL upper-division coursework, working, hanging out with theatre friends and OC friends (hopefully!)
If all goes according to plan...this year also means GRADUATING!

Since I'm a planner:
Aug '09 - May '10 = School in Pullman, graduation
May - Aug '10 = hopefully working for New Student Programs again
Sept - Dec '10 = internship (Australia?) for 6 credits, officially completing my B.A. in Communication (Public Relations)
Jan - ??? = living with my parents?
Sept (?) '10 = Grad school? I'm beginning to consider my options, and I'm looking into a possible MBA in Public Administration

So that's my life right now.
