Well shit. I'm stuck with register.com for a year.
I'll look into it for next year. The MOST important thing is that I don't have to worry about port blocking and I'll be able to shut down my domain controller at home since it was only a domain controller for the purpose of being an exchange server. I don't even use it as a print server as it's direct IP printing on the printer.
I had register.com ever since I got savitzky.com back in the 90's but I only ever used them for domain name registration. I had the savitzky.com stuff running from home for a while, then when port 80 was blocked I moved it to my office. Eventually I switched to Google for email/calendar and used Dreamhost for the web and photo gallery. I'm still doing all that and just transferred domain name registration over to Dreamhost too.
