I forgot how yummy...

 For breakfast this week I've been having steel cut oats.  Before I go to bed I throw 1/2 a cup of steel cut oats, a pinch of salt and 2 cups of water into our little crock pot.  It the morning it's oatmeal, from whole, unadulterated oats.  Last night I found in our pantry a bag of dried, unsweetened, UNSULFITED pears.  I cut up a bunch and threw them in with the oats, salt and water.  Even better.  I need to go back to TJ's and get more dried, unsweetened, UNSULFITED, fruit.  Maybe apples and bluberries...  An awesome breakfast for about 1 minutes effort...

I bought sulfited peaches once for this.  Ruined the whole batch as it suffused my tasty breafast with sulfur taste, YUCK.
