The rain outside meant Fraser had to take a little extra time to shake the water off of his coat and hat before taking a seat at his desk. Dief just shook out his fur, spraying water far and wide without a real care in the world. Dogs had it so much better.
"I should make you dry off everything you just got wet," Fraser remarked, sitting down and giving Dief a look. Dief just made a pitiful sound and curled up on the floor, ignoring Fraser's subtle hint.
Fraser shook his head and started pulling papers out of files. "Dogs really do have the easiest lives."
