NOTE: While in Milliways Aeryn has given birth to a baby named Andrei. Unable to face the fact that her son was a part of Crichton she gave him up for adoption to Richard Mayhew and Amadeo. She has also had a number of brief relationships:
stuck_mynock - involved a lot of pain and self-denial on both sides and ended quickly when Aeryn realised she had strong feelings for another man and was fooling herself. Atton and her still have a shaky relationship.
fighting_mad - An almost solely sexual relationship with an insane amount of chemistry and fondness for the other woman. Ended painfully when Plourr neglected to mention she was going to get married, until she showed up in the Bar in a wedding dress. They have yet to make up.
hero_jack The first person Aeryn felt deeply for that wasn't based on a sexual relationship. In many ways he is like Crichton, but she loves him for who he is. In the end Jack decided to stay with long-term love Kate Austen, leaving Aeryn even more cynical about love. They are attempting to be friends, but it's often awkward and punctuated with unintentional lapses into behaviour that crosses the friendship line (despite the fact they have never slept together).
PLOT
[Some threads may contain violence, hints at sexual situations and swearing]
Aeryn came in directly after the Farscape episode 'The Choice' in which she mourns the death of the Crichton aboard Talyn. Despite her decision to continue on without him, she was unable to overcome the pain or looks exchanged between the crew of Talyn and fled, finally coming upon Milliways Bar.
She later returned to her Universe to
join an elite mercenary unit known as the Raxor's who had many former-Peacekeepers in their midst. Her
mistake in joining became obviously quickly, but her pride wouldn't allow her to admit it. Not even when they continued to
test her. She made a friend in Jygar Ferd, but with her
promotion time together became scant. After rejecting Jygar's
advances she made up her mind to leave. Things did not go
well leading to the death of a good man and more guilt on the soldier's conscience.
Soon after this Aeryn returned to the Raxor's for some good-old fashioned
revenge. For Jygar.
Uncontent to stay at a Bar doing nothing, Aeryn (to her detriment) wanted to see how Moya's crew was doing and say goodbye to Pilot. First she asks Crais for
help. A short
conversation with Crais and Moya's crew takes place in which she realises they are still looking for her. She fights with Crichton, trying to remain
cold, but when it's time to go she can't say
goodbye.
Later she returns to Moya again, but an encounter with
bounty hunters scuppers her plan. Aeryn gets
shrunk, canon ensues with a few changes and when she is made big again, Crichton confronts her. She knows it still isn't
time.
But she can't forget. How any day Crichton and the others could die, without her to help them. And so she makes a plan with other's at Milliways using foreign magic to help slow the Command Carrier chasing them down. Again, she enlists Crais' help, but he is nowhere near as willing to give it this
time. Jaina Solo was always good with technology, Aeryn takes her to her own universe to garner her help with
Peacekeeper tech. She uses
Polyjuice potion to give her the semblance of a Peacekeeper Captain (Crais came through on the goods needed) and when Jaina and she return to the Command Carrier, it is in disguise and goes without a
hitch, sort of. Jaina is scolded for her actions yet when it's time to start the mission properly, sentiments are
exchanged.
The plan goes...well according to
plan, but the escape route is compromised and only Jaina gets back safely to Milliways. Aeryn is captured by Grayza.
Aeryn learns what it's like to be a
prisoner and the aurora chair beckons. Under the torture of the chair, memories are torn from her, but she holds too tightly for any real information to be
gotten. Except Grayza has taken a tip from the Scarrans on torture and puts Aeryn in a new
device, she knows all is lost now. Until a familiar face comes to the
rescue and Aeryn makes it through to Milliways and recovery.
She enters her own world only once more, to retrieve her prowler from the Command Carrier. But when the door refuses to appear and she is stranded outside Milliways Jan Tergan comes through
again. Memories are never easy to
escape and Aeryn begins to wonder if the door is exactly where she left it, where the danger is. But her attempt to leave is stopped by a furious Jan Tergan who makes entirely the wrong move when they both try to forget the people they love. She doesn't look back and steps through to
Milliways.
