I have some things and people I worry about, but lately I have so many small and large things in my life that make me happy and, weirdly, all of them are from or a result of the Nexus. This is just a post about me being thankful.

And hopeful that writing this out hasn't jinxed me.

I hope you didn't worry. I've just been home for various reasons lately and wanted to check in. ::Aya loves that rumpled look, even as he knows it wouldn't look good on him.::

You know you're top of the list of things that make me happy, don't you?

And Yohji knows it, which is why the half-buttoned shirt shifts to reveal tantalizing expanses of stomach when he walks. "I like being on top." He tries to give Aya a hello kiss.

::Aya has loosened up a little bit about PSAs. But not too much.::

So it's a hello kiss, not a hellooooo kiss. Yotan can work with that. "As long as it's with you." He winks.

"Oh, I got something for you." He digs a small box out of his back pocket. Yes, it is amazing that he fit anything in a pocket with how tight those jeans are.

::At this stage in his life, the only way Aya would do a hellooooo kiss in public would be if he were drunk off his ass. He accepts the box with a small, pleased smile.::

"It's because they have a magic wand in them." Yes, he says it with a straight face. He even thinks it's a good line.

And the present is a ring that's just like the fake wedding ring he wears, but "forever yours" is engraved on the inside of the band.

Uh-huh. ::Aya expected Yohji to say something about all the large things he can fit in his pants.::

::Aya's eyes widen as he opens the box and takes the ring out. As he turns the ring in the light he can see the engraving. After he puts it on, Aya grabs Yohji and holds him tightly, unable to say anything at the moment.

Yohji lightly strokes Aya's back and grins like an idiot. "I love you, Aya."

I love you too. So much. ::Aya isn't letting go any time soon. Yohji didn't have to do this because Aya knows he is loved and that they're engaged in all the ways that count, but somehow having this physical token is affecting him so much more than he would have guessed.::

Yohji guessed. That's why he insisted on doing it. And he's never going to complain about Aya wanting to hug him.

...and to keep himself from grabbing Aya's ass, he strokes Aya's hair.

Mmmm. ::Later, in private, Yohji can do all the ass-grabbing he wants.:: I'm so glad I have you in my life.

"And I'm just as glad to be in your life. You bring me so much happiness."

"It's one of the many things you inspire in me." They've been hugging long enough that Aya is probably aware of some of the other sorts of inspiration. Yotan seems to have a pavlovian response to being in contact with Aya for an extended period of time.
