As I suspected would happen, Yohji and Ken broke up. What I should have expected was that Yohji would go to me for commiseration and confession the way Ken has always gone to Omi (though Ken always cut out any risqué details, as if Omi didn't already know everything anyway). Yohji started coming to me during the mobile trailer days when the team was constantly in some city or another where we didn't know anyone else. I didn't expect him to now because we two had had our own difficulties in a similar vein not so long ago.
So he talked to me and I figured out what had really happened there and told him. He denied it, but I really think he's not consciously aware of his own reasoning at times.
Then we found out that Omi and Ken were eavesdropping by the door. Once discovered, Omi said he thought my theory about Yohji made sense, while Ken launched himself at Yohji with a growl. Omi and I stood back as Ken kicked Yohji's ass around the room.
Now Yohji's moping and angry and limping around, while Ken's moping and angry and shooting dirty looks at him. I came to the Nexus to escape and find some sanity. Yes, it's that bad.
