Well, I've been a horribly, terrilbe LJ friend, and journal keeper in general these past few...days, weeks, months, inexorable amount of time. I've had some exciting things going on, but I've had a real problem keeping up with any type of writing - online or in my actual journal. I don't think I can recount all of the events, but I'll update basically.
I finally bought tickets for Grant, Mom, and I to go to Forks, WA Mar 22 - Mar 25. I'm excited beyond all belief. I'm taking my good camera and being a good record keeper because I'm so excited. I don't want to forget a moment of it. :) I love Washington so much, too. :) We're driving from Seattle. I'm excited, can't you tell?
Tori and I are going to Breckenridge next Saturday. :) Angie's birthday party is next Friday and I got her, hands down, THE BEST GIFT EVER. I'll have to post a pic of it when I get it. But I can't tell you what it is because she still has an LJ that I have friended. I don't even trust the facade of abandonment it shows. It's such a rad gift for her, that I don't want it ruined. :)!
I've been reading a lot of books. I just finished "Thief of Always" by Clive Barker. I'm in the middle of The Lottery & other short stories by Shirley Jackson. I finally finished the joy of the book that is Pride and Prejudice. I have a stack of books waiting for me, too. I love reading. :) I've also been renting movies from the library. :) I just watched Marie Antoinette, The Birds and The Phantom of the Opera [over rated], and I still have the number 23 and babel to watch this week. :)
Sociology is cancelled this Wednesday, which makes me so [!] happy, because I literally ditch that class every day. It's pointless and mind numbing. And having it after a two hour period of French repetition and busy work, it's too much to take. :) Ah well. I've taken Sociology before. :)
I'm knitting a scarf for Hayden. It's pretty cool. I have to read Bartleby by Melville tomorrow. Yuck. It's a fine story, and it's short, but god damn Melville uses five dollar words where they aren't needed. It's boring.
Oh! I went to the mall on Friday [or Thursday?] with Alyssa, and I bought some new moccassins that I LOVE, and a long green over sweater that makes me so happy all of the time. They're my Seattle clothes. :)
I've been inundated with the idea of taking a year off from college, to work and travel, but I don't think I could do that. I'm much too much of a Ravenclaw to take that much timeoff of studying, etc. Study abroad is the only thing I could really do. :)
Our house is finally on the market. We had people walk through yesterday, but no others, thus far. It's been hell cleaning and keeping the place clean. It's crazy. I could never live THIS cleanly for a long amount of time.
Let's see. What else? It feels like time is moving so quickly nowadays. It's a little scary.
Well, I have nothing much else to say. Adieu.
