I went to The Eagles concert last night in Phoenix at the Glendale Arena. It was awesome. They are probably one of the best, if not the best, bands in the history of music! Not only did they play Eagles songs, but they also played Don Henley ("Boys of Summer," "Dirty Laundry," and "All She Wants To Do Is Dance") and Joe Walsh ("Rocky Mountain Way," "Funk 49," "Life's Been Good To Me So Far," and another one that's slipping my mind right now). It was amazing. Absolutely amazing. I about creamed my pants when the trumpet solo for "Hotel California" started, and then the 12-string guitars kicked in. Gorgeous. Just beautiful. They pretty much played all their big hits, but didn't play one of my favourites, "Seven Bridges Road." Oh well. All in all, it was badass. And ties with their show here in Tucson at the TCC a few back as my number one concert.

I also got a badass concert poster that they handed out at the end of the show. And since they're playing a second show in November (actually, it's the same week of the NASCAR race at PIR), there's a second poster that goes with it. So I have to figure out how in the hell I'm going to get the second half. Hm...
