SN FANS ARE THE GREATEST
OK this has been a most WEIRD WEIRD DAY!!
A good friend of mine, someone like a sister, whom many of you know as Rosecarter, called this morning. I was not awake when she called, and David was outside tinkering with car, (still acting up, but hell at least it is running) When I woke up Kyle was screaming he wanted to watch "Dean and Sammy" so we began running a Season 1 marathon (I do not have season two yet).
So I called Rose back, and low and behold she is on her way to see me. 4 hours later, she pulled into the driveway. **SCREAMS** She could not stay very long, but it was great finally getting to meet someone after almost two years. David really wanted to meet her, but unfortunately she had to leave before David returned from the fair with his daughter. She took a picture on her camera phone and will be sending it to me, soon. I just had to let everyone know, I finally got meet someone I met through this fandom (THANK YOU ERIC KRIPKE!!!)
About Rose, it was great seeing her, it was just like I thought it was would be, I would have to keep from screaming in her ear (which I restrained myself from doing!!) my son showed his butt. And I showed off my mirror wall of Jensen. And we laughed and talked. As soon as she was in the driveway she jumped out of the car, and we immediately hugged each other!! I have waiting to meet for a while. Soon I will get to meet more of friends, from this fandom. I hope the experience is just as wonderful as today's was. Sorry for rambling so much, I am still stoked that I actually got to meet her in person (damn it is starting to sound like a met a celebrity isn't it??)
Like I said soon I hope to meet other friends that I have met due to this great fandom.. It is strange in real life, I don't hang out with one particular group of friends, and the friend I consider close I can count on one hand, and most of them I have not seen or talked to in months, except Rendi I see her every chance we get, our kids play together, and we talk on the phone, every night when she doesn't get to come over. But our conversations are usually 30 minutes to a hour. But Rose, Kimberly, Bev, and Lady we talk for hours on the phone!!
