Hey anyone on my friends list,

Please could you send healing thoughts to my Welsh Springer (that's him in my icon)?  We just got back from leaving him over night at the emergency  vets.  He's on a drip and they're not sure what's wrong with him, despite having done an x-ray and taking bloods.

All healing thoughts and messages would be gratefully   ( Read more... )

Hi again, I am very happy to hear about Phoenix, I hope he gets to come home soon, Hospital stinks, I would imagine even more so for a pet then a person. I have noticed the Welsh can be pretty stubborn so in situations like this that is a good thing. I hope it's not a tumor, one of our Goldens (Cassie) had a horrible one on her chest, but she was to old to be able to do surgery and expect her to live through it. Lucky it started out small and so we had time with her before it was to big for her to be happy anymore and we had her put down last May, she was 15.

I guess what I am trying to say is that if it is don't think you would have to put him down right away, he might have a few more years, if that is even what is wrong right now. You would just have to monitor his quality of life and make sure he is still happy. I'm a big one for hoping it's just a bad cold, a cold can go away fairly easy. So I hope he just has a cold and will get to be with you for a much longer time.

Thank you for your kind words on Mariah, she is also pretty stubborn (and used to be pretty spiteful too, if I didn't give her everything she wanted like OMG right now!!!11!! she would go and do naughty in my bed.lol) She is a white wolf (although umm for insurance purpose we tend to fib a little when "official people" ask about her)

Usually we are pretty good about getting our pets to live a long time, our one cat Friday was 23, and Jenny our Golden Retriever was never supposed to live past 3 or 4 because she was epileptic, but she was little over 13 when she finally went.

Hugs and still keep us updated on your little guy.
