Thank you for expanding on my one-line thought about the work and complications of long-term relationship RP, and why I can find it to be so rewarded ^_^ Those are the very same reasons I wouldn't go into it with anyone I didn't trust because, as with a real relationship, going through all that crap can be touchy. It has to be communicated well if you're going to have fun behind the scenes, and not secretly be hurt every time your characters butt heads.
They do too! Somewhere. Probably in a crafty-type place, there are bread boxes being made even now. I hope.
It can be. And short term or long, you are hitching your trust to the other person and your character to their character. It opens the way for neglect, abuse, unforeseen repercussions. You really have to trust who you're with. I'm very very lucky in that, actually. I have some fantastic friends that I've managed to hold on to and we've worked through our characters issues, and the different challenges that come up in our real lives and our friendship is stronger because of it.
And if our characters butt heads, it just makes for better reading! No sense being hurt over it, its just good rp fun.
Thank you! *beams* I am really trying to slowly develop Brandon, not as a child, but as a young man on the verge of those *shudder* teen years. And my boys, and their escapades give me lots to draw on.
And yes, I rp Roch. I used to love writing him, he was - for the most part - unrepentantly evil, with a smile. Then some things happened and I guess I just lost him. I'm trying to be able to write him again but the voice comes and goes.
Hee, I love those teenagers...for some godforesaken reason. It's part of why I'm going to teach high school. The stories are something else... I'm looking forward to getting to see it played out! Though you'd think I'd get enough of them from classes.
It happens sometimes, unfortunately. Any extreme makes it a little more difficult to sustain. But I'm hoping for the best for you and him. Evil that enjoys itself is far too much fun.

Also, I've wondered who played Rochefort for a while...though I probably should have put two and two together with Amanrante.
