HAPPY FUK'N NEW YEAR!!!!
So the holidays came and went. They were great!!
Because we took such a long trip in September (to Alaska), I didn't have the time to take off to go home to LA to be with the family, so this was my first here in SF.
Earlier this month I celebrated Chanukah with Jeff and some of his friends. Great food!! WOO HOO!!
We had a low-keyed Xmas. We exchanged gifts got a cool turntable that is suppose to allow me to convert my vinyl into mp3s...cool, except they don't tell you in the add that you have to download some plug-ins from them...but the plug-in file doesn't work. So, I gotta call and get that taken care of, but once I get it up and running, I'm gonna be so happy! YAY!!!
My brother, his gf and her 2 kids came up from LA for NYE. We were really excited about that. What started as plans for a quiet family dinner, gift exchange and New Year countdown, turned into 15 people and a huge dinner. It turned out to be a lot of fun.
Now it's January 1, 2008. I'm BEAT!!!! ...but very happy! The only thing that could've made it better would have been if my mom and stepdad had come up too!
Looking forward to a few people poppin' into town soon: childhood friend, Dee Dee, who found me on facebook after not seeing me since I was 7 years old, and of course the one and only ironchefpinoy will be here to stir up some trouble...LOL j/k
