People I met in KL

Another highlight of my trip back to KL was the people I got to meet.

Besides Malcolm, the other 3 people whom I met who had an impact on me were the following:

I met this girl, a personal trainer at Fitness First John Hancock. She's the sweetest little thing ever. Talked to her a bit my first visit there. Was telling her how impressed I was at the friendliness of the staff at the gym (although the receptionists are still a bit snobbish, similar to that stupid Adam guy at the Melbourne Central Fitness First...is that a requirement of employment?) and how I love the amenities that the gym provides - they actually have soft drinks and hot drinks ranging from hot tea, coffee to peach tea and green tea. For those in KL, they don't have such things in Australia. All you get is the water from the cooler. They also give you plastic bags in the changing rooms so you can put your wet and sweaty stuff in. But then again, the Aussies are so "green", they probably won't use the plastic bags anyway. But hell...I would!!! Yeah, loved talking to her, and her smile is just breath taking. One of the girls I would ever turn straight for.

Then, I met Don, Quan's bf. In his pictures, I always picture him as this macho alpha male kinda guy. But he's just so funny. I love talking to him and listening to his anecdotes. He just cracks me up. He reminds me a lot of Singapore. The way he talks, the way he acts. Such a funny and sweet guy. So very nice to Quan too. :)

Quan also introduced me to his good friend Reuben, whom I've been dying to meet since Quan mentioned about him back here in Melbourne. Reuben's really sweet and nice too. Talking to him is sooo not like talking to a 17 year old. He's so matured for his age and such an interesting person to know. He introduced me to the addictive world of Sudoku too, which I have yet to get started in fear that I too become addicted like the millions around the world. And I'm a geek for math puzzles too! :P
