[After yesterday, Ranma made a decision to give in. There wasn't much time to hear about the stuff with the milk, but there was something he could do in the end. After what happened yesterday, he needed to atone for that. There was no reason for him turning into what he did, and the least he could do was make himself useful. And drink the milk

[after that scuffle (and having killed him) yesterday, it'll be completely understandable for Suzuha to be a little wary when she spots Ranma at the phone, when she begins to head down to the hall.]

[Without Ranma noticing her, she'll shuffle quickly to the side, and listens in to what he's saying over the phone.]

["I'm not feelin' too hot right now. I'm... ugh... probably not gonna make it. Thing is... I'm gonna fight it. I know my body better than anyone else does, and I ain't gonna die that easy."]

[Perhaps, as respect for he who is to die soon, she'll let him finish talking on the phone before she reveals herself, and continues her way down the hallway, still wary, but not aggressive in any manner.]

It's the milk, isn't it?

[He jolts at the voice, turning to see Suzuha in the hallway. Man, this felt weird. Staring at the person who killed him, even though he wasn't acting like himself. Though he had to remain calm. He wasn't going to hurt her this time around, and there was no reason to be too apprehensive.]

Yeah. I drank it this mornin'. [He groggily slumps against a wall, setting the receiver back on the base.] S'makin' me sick.

[timessionaire]

You did?!

[Well, having drank it before herself, she wasn't exactly going to wish the same fate upon others. Though she's actually somewhat apprehensive about the whole situation. Blades in milk, then now, poison?!]

[She'll go up to him, almost expecting him to suddenly attack her again, to hold on to him and support him, and lead him to the couch] Come on, you should sit down.

[jusenkyoed]

No, that's alright-- [But despite that, he goes with her so he could sit down. It was the best thing to do, he felt like he really did need to rest. He didn't want to fall asleep, but just... stay down for a second.]

L...Look, I'm sorry about the past few days, I know it ain't the best introduction to this place...

[timessionaire]

No, no... It's not your fault. This whole place... it's all messed up. The man in the bedroom, [whom she'd locked in the closet to rot] the little girl [who was probably outside playing with other drone children somewhere right now] and so many of the people out there... They're all messed up.

Yeah... Will an' Jessica used to be actual people, but thanks to whatever this town does... ugh. [He tries to stay steady, groaning just out of the sickness.]

A lotta them aren't, though. I guess some of them're just messed up because they didn't drink the milk.

[timessionaire]

This town... [she'll need to find out more about this some time]

That's what happened yesterday, isn't it? [that he became like that because he didn't drink the milk...]

Yeah. ...s'why I drank it today. To make sure the same thing doesn't happen.

[timessionaire]

... [well... she'll admit, she finds this pretty damned noble of him.] I... see.

Listen... I'll... [she winces a little, remembering the day before yesterday.] I'll drink tomorrow, alright? You shouldn't have to do this alone.

What?! [He sits up further, an incredulous look on his face before he slumps again, having exerted himself just yelling out.]

O...Oi, wait a sec. Y'don't know how this town works, y'need to take a few days away from this house t'figure it out. [Even if it's his pride that's telling him that he should do this, though he doesn't want to.]

[timessionaire]

Oh, sheesh. I'm older than you, I should at least be a little responsible for your safety, right? [that and I'm supposed to be your mom... it's all so weird...]

[jusenkyoed]

You don't look that much older than I am... [Though he's not a dad here, so that settles that.]

I'll be fine anyway... least after today.

[timessionaire]

Right. Well, don't argue with me on this. I'll drink it tomorrow, alright?

...fine. Ugh... [He rests his head back against the couch, taking a deep breath.] Guess there's nothin' wrong with takin' turns...

[finally he gives in. sighh.] So! What's your name?
