9/11
its really hard to believe its been five years... and now looking at the post- 9/11 world and seeing how much of a difference there is. i didnt watch the news that morning bc i was rushing to school, the 2nd plane hit while i was in 2nd period... a friend of mine, Chris, told our french teacher that the WTC had been bombed. He said no way and we finally convinced him to turn the tv on... only a few minutes after we turned the tv on, the 2nd plane hit. it was crazy... i was super worried my dad was going to get sent over there bc i knew this would start an activation for him. my mom had to pack his clothes, he had to leave his job, and head out to the ANG station.
its just crazy how much has changed since then.... my kids will never be able to watch the plane carrying loved ones land or take off... slowly our freedom is being taken away... RIP and my thoughts are with those who lost loved ones on 9/11/2001
